Bill was interviewing a high school student on the phone about how much it cost to take a girl out....cab or limo fare,
dinner, movie, corsage...came to about 300 bucks...Bill said "And I bet that doesn't even include contraceptives and drugs,
does it?" The kid said "No!" and Bill went cold into a spot break as a stinger. He thought "contraceptives and drugs" was
OK...certainly better than "dope and rubbers", but TIC didn't see it that way. He worked out the remainder of his contract
there as production director with no more air shifts....no doubt polishing this very WTIC composite to impress Gerry Cagle at KFRC, San Francisco(his next gig).
